Children in many areas of Papua New Guinea are facing cultural shifts that far surpass any changes that most generations face. It is not unusual for children in this generation to have parents who are from remote agrarian cultures while they themselves are attending urban universities, using mobile phones and communicating on Facebook. These changes are challenging and create both crises and opportunities. Pray that the gospel in their cultural heart language brings an oasis of peace to those that are facing challenging times.
