Morning comes early

We are not always anxious for the sun to rise from its place beyond the hills but whether we are ready or not it still keeps on coming every day. Despite it being too early at times, we welcome and count on  its dependability. Many language workers around Papua New Guinea are already working when the sun’s rays cut across the skies. Their dependability and perseverance is a tribute to the urgency they feel about getting God’s word into the heart language of their people. When you see the morning rays today (or tomorrow) pray that the energy required to work day after day on the translation and language development work in PNG would be provided so that these workers could persevere to the end.
