As more and more people move into the cities of Papua New Guinea, it is becoming an alternative place to do translation. These cities have settlements of language groups where the language is being spoken. Some language groups represent areas that are very difficult to get to. As translation efforts occur in the urban centres, it is not without challenges. It is easy for language speakers to get out of touch with their language as they find that they need to communicate in either Tok Pisin or English. Pray that the translations done in the cities would remain accurate to the language.
