Not all translation work happens in the remote areas of Papua New Guinea. Sometimes translation and language development workers gather in the urban areas. As Papua New Guineans look for work, many times it brings them to the cities. They tend to gather with people who speak the same language and small communities form within the urban setting. Translation work occurs as interest develops. Here in Lae there is a cluster project that includes several languages working simultaneously towards the goal of a completed New Testament in their heart language. Pray for projects like these that are creatively meeting translation needs as almost 300 languages in PNG are still needing a project started.
