Bird’s eye view

One drop
Up close or …
Bird's eye view
… a bird’s eye view

Getting further away from an object often gives you a different perspective.

It’s good to get a bird’s eye view of things once in a while. We all have our own talents, goals and visions for a project or program but sometimes we are so focused that we can miss the overall objective the program is trying to accomplish. This can happen with language development and Bible translation projects too. Individual goals can become so important that it might make it difficult to see what God is doing on a grander scale. So sometimes it is good to step back and refocus from a distance and see how this small piece fits into the overall picture of God’s Kingdom. Pray for Papua New Guinea’s language development and Bible translation effort. Pray that it has the proper perspective.
