In some language areas, the community does not immediately recognize the need of having the Scriptures in their heart language. Sometimes to show the value of heart-language Scriptures, a small portion or a set of songs or even Bible stories are translated and then shown to the community. The community gets to “taste and see” how good it really is. The outcomes are often amazing. Hearing the Word of God in their own language often creates a strong interest from which the community can embrace a new language development and translation effort.
